Resumen

Este artículo investiga el discurso de la sostenibilidad en los Juegos Olímpicos de 2024. A partir de un corpus digital compuesto por comunicaciones oficiales, de prensa y contenido generado en redes sociales, el estudio integra la Lingüística de Corpus con el Análisis Crítico del Discurso para estudiar narrativas textuales urbanas. La investigación identifica colocaciones y estructuras metafóricas clave que enmarcan la sostenibilidad en el contexto de la transformación urbana olímpica. Los hallazgos destacan que los discursos comunicativos a menudo emplean metáforas para criticar o reinventar las narrativas dominantes y que sirven como herramientas para moldear la comprensión pública y el compromiso emocional con la responsabilidad ambiental y social. Esta investigación contribuye al campo más amplio de la cultura urbana al revelar cómo eventos globales como los Juegos Olímpicos median lingüística y simbólicamente en el discurso urbano digital sobre los imaginarios de la sostenibilidad en la planificación urbana contemporánea.
