Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

Street Art & Urban Creativity (SAUC) applies a transparent and clearly defined Article Processing Charges (APC) model intended to support the editorial, technical, and dissemination processes required for high-quality academic publishing.

Editorial Independence

Payment of the APC has no influence on editorial decisions.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated exclusively on the basis of their academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s thematic scope. The peer review process is conducted independently of any financial consideration.

APCs are only requested once the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication, after successfully completing the full peer review process.

  • Editorial management (receipt, follow-up, and communications): €150

  • Copy-editing and language revision: €120

VAT (21%): €157.50

Language and Translation Policy

The APC includes a professional translation service in order to ensure linguistic accessibility and the international dissemination of published works.

Specifically:

  • If the manuscript is received in Spanish, it will be translated into English
  • If the manuscript is received in English, it will be translated into Spanish

This policy ensures that all published articles are available both to the international academic audience and to the Spanish-speaking research community, thereby reinforcing their visibility and impact.

  • editorial management and communication with authors
  • coordination of external peer review
  • language revision and copy-editing
  • professional layout and editorial design
