In recent years, football (soccer) has become the most popular sport globally. This popularity has been linked to public, social, and educational issues; in the latter, it extends beyond just history or rules, focusing also on the soft skills developed in sports environments. These skills, such as leadership, effective communication, and teamwork, are essential for the holistic development of individuals.
In sports training fields, young people learn to resolve conflicts, collaborate to achieve a common goal, and manage high-pressure situations. The impact of these skills on society is significant, as participants trained in these areas contribute positively to their communities. The purpose of this article is to analyze the activities conducted in football schools that help to strengthen these skills. This research employed a qualitative methodology, including a biographic narrative from a subjective epistemological perspective, allowing for a deeper understanding of how football influences the development of these skills.
