Transmedia narratives and the use of social media have become key tools for content mobilization and follower creation in response to the challenge of low public attendance at museum spaces. In contrast, the creation of digital content and the expansion of interaction across multiple platforms is a strategy to reach younger audiences and as an educational strategy. The potential of transmedia narratives and social media to promote knowledge and social transformation is highlighted through the creation of innovative content with scientific value.
