Resumen

Las campañas audiovisuales de salud pública en redes sociales suelen utilizar información normativa para desalentar comportamientos no saludables. Mientras que las normas prescriptivas sugieren conductas adecuadas, las descriptivas destacan la prevalencia de acciones indeseadas. Investigaciones previas muestran que las normas descriptivas pueden tener efectos contraproducentes, reforzando los comportamientos que intentan reducir (efecto boomerang). Sin embargo, su impacto en la prevención del juego sigue poco explorado. Para abordar esta cuestión, se realizó una revisión teórica utilizando Web of Science, Scopus, Medline y PsycInfo a través de EBSCO Discovery. Esta revisión analiza su efecto en campañas preventivas y ofrece recomendaciones basadas en evidencia para mejorar los mensajes de prevención del juego
