Resumen

El estudio analiza las diferencias de género en el uso de videojuegos en jóvenes adultos en España. El estudio observacional se realizó con 500 participantes de 18 a 24 años. Se descubrió que las mujeres prefieren jugar en solitario (69.8%), mientras que los hombres optan por el multijugador online (55.7%). Ellos dedican más horas al juego y prefieren acción y deportes, mientras que ellas se inclinan por juegos sociales y de simulación. Además, las mujeres perciben menor habilidad en ciertas tareas. Se concluye que existen diferencias significativas en hábitos, preferencias y percepción de habilidades en videojuegos.
