Resumen

Esta investigación analiza las narrativas visuales y estrategias de storytelling en publicaciones sobre crímenes en Instagram de los principales medios de televisión abierta en Chile (2023-2024). A través de un enfoque mixto, se examinan encuadres, formatos visuales, nivel de interacción y tono narrativo. Los hallazgos revelan una tensión entre la necesidad de informar y atraer audiencias, destacando el impacto del sensacionalismo, la emotividad y la viralidad en la percepción del crimen. Se discute cómo las prácticas mediáticas en la contrucción de la narrativa criminal, son un desafío para las implicaciones éticas y sociales de los medios.
