Social media advertising enables massive reach, precise targeting, direct interaction, and enhanced measurement and data analytics capabilities. LinkedIn ads reach a relevant audience focused on knowledge, academia, job opportunities and collaborations. This research analyzes the advertising actions carried out on LinkedIn by the Spanish universities with the largest number of students in Spain. From this work we derive innovations and trends that the main brands in the educational field are adopting in online advertising
