Sobre la posibilidad de una «sociedad» o «comunidad internacional» en un mundo roto

Ante la división y polarización de la sociedad internacional en este momento de la historia de la humanidad, con varios conflictos armados causando inmenso sufrimiento, nos preguntamos si es posible una sociedad internacional, o incluso una verdadera comunidad internacional, en la que los lazos de integración sean más fuertes. O si, por el contrario, se reafirmarán el imperialismo o los nacionalismos actualmente florecientes. Hemos visto cómo la mayoría de los autores coinciden en la existencia de una sociabilidad natural del ser humano, que es la base de la necesidad de cooperación entre individuos, pueblos y Estados. Sobre esta base, hemos analizado el surgimiento y desarrollo de la sociedad internacional hasta nuestros días y los elementos que permitirían hablar de una comunidad mundial de Estados, o al menos de comunidades subglobales.
